Digital Marketing Strategist

At Iversoft, the Digital Marketing Strategist works with our clients and internal marketing strategy team to develop custom digital-centric marketing plans. The bulk of this role is researching, reporting, and preparing the initial reports that will shape the final strategy and presentation.

This role supports the Director of Digital Services and will be contributing to the research and preliminary work for strategies presented to clients. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, curious, data driven individual who aspires to learn the Iversoft way of approaching and delivering digital marketing strategies. 



  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of clients, competitors and industries online
  • Conduct subject matter expert interviews to gain insight into the business and industry
  • Set specific, measurable marketing goals that align with overall direction and business goals
  • Design digital campaigns that aim to meet and exceed business and marketing KPIs
  • Define how to measure marketing outcomes including but not limited to leads, sales, retention, LTV, customer satisfaction, and ROI
  • Research market to identify new opportunities
  • Generate innovative ideas to promote brands and products with measurable outcomes
  • Provide business cases to support marketing strategies and tactics, budget requests, resource allocations, tool investment and asset development
  • Ensure brand alignment and consistency across initiatives and recommendations 
  • Develop brand guidelines or update existing brand guidelines to accommodate new initiatives, platforms and messaging 
  • Format strategy reports and supporting documents with the utmost attention to detail and professional aesthetic appeal


  • Previous experience producing or contributing to digital marketing strategies 
  • Previous experience defining and reporting on metrics based KPIs 
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Familiarity and understanding of CRMs
  • Familiarity and understanding of email and marketing automation tools
  • Expert mastery in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel; especially custom templates and formatting
  • Experience identifying and defining target markets and developing buyer personas
  • Comfortable and up to date on social media platforms and trends as used for business
  • Experience with B2B marketing AND B2C marketing (strong preference towards applicants with B2B experience) 
  • Creative thinker with data driven analytical aptitude
  • Innate interest and passion towards the field of digital marketing
  • Personal involvement and affinity toward social media, a proactive and personal interest in social media trends

  • Familiarity with SEMRush
  • Familiarity with HubSpot (or similar)
  • Familiarity with MailChimp (or similar) 
  • Familiarity with Klipfolio (or similar) 
  • Familiarity with Asana, Slack, G-Suite services, DropBox
